Always start with the eyes.
Startooning is a multi-level drawing instruction program, originally created at the request of fifth and sixth graders. Since then, the characters have been drawn by thousands of people, as young as four, in a dozen states and three other countries. Drawing the characters is easier, and more fun, than drawing letters of the alphabet.
Drawing develops pattern recognition skills and a sense of proportion, forming a cognitive foundation for Visual Literacy, and necessary for any professional Arts career.
Startooning develops drawing skills, animation techniques, creative problem solving, and a visual sense of humor, by geomatrizing the mind with combinations of basic shapes.
